To all Cat Lovers...

Time flies and it's Christmas again...  Our kittens are now cats!  Would like to wish all cat lovers a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year!!! Meow...:)

Found Five New Kittens... Part V: The Missing One

We thought we caught all five last September...  Yes, we did.  However, we missed one.  There should be six kittens. After three months, we found this kitten running around our backyard...

This little guy was so fat that we thought she was a girl and was pregnant... We called Manda, the volunteer, again and asked for help... She came and we caught him...  Good that he is a boy.  After the operation, he was brought back to our place...

He stays in our garage together with Mom, FaFa and Vita...  He took Wonkie's place.  We haven't seen Wonkie since early January and we don't know where he is...  We miss Wonkie...

Toffee enjoys staying with us... He stays at the door every evening and meets with Felix, Milky and Latte... When the weather is good, he walks around and plays with his two sisters, FaFa and Vita... He is just adorable... We love him!

First Birthday...

Time flies... The kittens were one year old on Monday April 21, 2014!  We had a party...

We invited their brothers and sisters Dou Dou, Lei Lei, Fei and Jing, they could not join. Uncle Wonkzai, Auntie Takzai and their doggie friend JJ came...

Happy Birthday to the Lucky Seven

We ordered a cake with kittens...  My sisters bought them different favor of party mix...  Our maid prepared them fresh salmon... 

WOW...  We had 15 people, 5 cats and 1 dog in the house... Poor Milky was so scared that he didn't even come out from his little shelter...  Latte was a little better, running up and down just to see what's going on... Only Felix our girl was brave enough to greet her guests...:)

Latte and Milky stayed closely together most of the time to watch out what's going on in the house...

We are not sure if the kittens (now cats) enjoy their birthday party, but we do...  Would like to wish them all the best... healthy, happy every day and enjoy their lives...

By the way, their Grandmother, Mother FaFa, Mother Vita and Uncle Toffee also had fresh salmon outside the house...

Felix our only girl among the three is a darling... She is relatively small compared with Milky and Latte. However, she is very smart.

She can run very fast and respond rapidly... She loves to jump to the very top... always the first one to ACT...

She is very brave...  not afraid of strangers... When my daughter's dog JJ came and stayed with us for a few days, she was the one who really came close to him...

The Story of Latte - the Thinker (2)

Five weeks vs five months

Latte has changed quite a lot since he stayed with us 10 months ago...  He grows much stronger, bigger, and his eyes changed from baby blue to mature brown...:)

One area he doesn't change is his character!  He is an observer.  He thinks... He can stay and watch something he is curious for a long time.  

He loves to watch the fishes...  He can stay there for hours...  

Why these guys can swim?

Latte is muscular and sometimes he is quite destructive...  

He takes the lead and the other two just follow...

Latte loves to eat...  He is the first one who jumps onto the table and wait for us to start the food. 

First one there...  The other just follow...

No matter what, he is a darling to us...  He comes to you every morning and wants you to hug him... He jumps to you every night when you watch TV...  Sometimes he enjoys watching TV with you in particular there is a soccer game!

The Story of Milky - the Actor (2)

Milky together with Latte and Felix have been staying in our home for 10 months...  

He is growing fast, from 0.5 kg to now  4.6 kg...  9 times.

He used to be friendly to visitors until one day we made a very important decision...  In October, we planned to bring these kittens to do the birth control operation.  We only have one cage at home and we cannot separate them if all of them taking the operation at the same time.

We had a family meeting and Milky was chosen to be the first one to go...:(

On October 21, Milky had his castration in the clinic...  When he came home in the evening, Felix was very unfriendly to him.  Milky was very frustrated...  Only after almost a week,  their relationship were back to normal.  Ever since then, Milky becomes very shy...  Whenever there are visitors or new comers, people or cats/dogs, he hides himself as much as possible...  

Even worse, we found Milky had been losing hair in some areas of his body...  We brought him to the doctor, tried the Front Line, used special medical aromatherapy to help him relax yet he still feels not very secure...  Poor baby!

Having said that, he is still our darling, always...
